This is Luc and Alyssa’s story. We met both characters in previous books. Luc Traverson is the dashing cook with his own show and was once the third will to his cousin, Deke’s threesomes. Alyssa Devereaux is the soon to be former erotic dancer who has worked her way through life to also be the proud owner of Sexy Sirens and new restaurant, Bonheur. Alyssa agreed to a threesome with Luc in exchange for his culinary services during her opening week.
First, I will say both of the characters are at the bottom of my list in the series so I didn’t much look forward to their story other than to get past them. There are some truly scintillating scenes between the two but it’s difficult to get beyond Luc’s constant whining and distrusting nature. On the contrary, when the book is over I had a greater appreciation for Alyssa and what she brings to the series. It’s not the best, not the worst…just a stepping stone.
