The man could charm the panties off a nun...
Nick Murphy. Hockey god. My best friend’s big brother. My friend-with-mindblowing-benefits. The best thing to happen to my nether regions since my subscription to the toy of the month club. The man I’ve been secretly in love with for years.
And total ass.
I am so done with him.
Except there’s one small problem.
Now that I’ve cut him off, his hockey game is in the toilet. He’s convinced I’m his good luck charm, and he wants me back. But only for his game.
I’ll be strong. I will. I’ll resist.
Asses don’t change their stripes.
Or do they?
This plan would be so easy if the man wasn't Charming as Puck...
It was so nice to see the sweet loveable Kami show her more devious side. She stood up for herself and refused to back down when it came to devilishly handsome Nick Murphy. The moment Kami sticks it to Nick, I knew they were perfect for one another. In order to get the commitment phobe prankster to settle down, he needed a woman that could not only handle his sometimes outlandish behavior, but could go toe to toe with him when needed. The moment Nick realizes that Kami was so much more than his FWB really hit me in the heart, and it was nice to see him grovel a bit to get back into her good graces. Their I love you moment hit me right in the damn feels.
As it is a classic Pippa Grant story, it will have you rolling with uncontrollable laughter. How can you not when there is a cow-dog named Sugarbear involved?! (Not gonna lie, I now kinda really want a cow-dog.) The glorious yet never ending prank war just keeps getting better and better. I completely lost it when the rogue penguins made their appearance, especially when Nick found out who actually did it. Ares Berger giving love advice in a way that is very Ares Berger is just a hoot and a half.
I was rooting for Kami and Nick from the moment the butter went into the cupboard. Their story is sweet, steamy, and an all-around entertaining time. Pippa continues to bring love stories that not only make you feel good but cackle uncontrollably. I will continue to forever love the Berger twins and all that comes from their kooky world.

Give me an alpha male with a woman who aces all forms of sarcasm and I'm putty in you hands -- bonus points if a Reverse Harem is involved. Supernatural esque romance and power plays tend to make my heart go pitter patter. I haven't met a book I wasn't willing to try, so if you've got recommendations email them my way. I'm a foul mouthed makeup addict with slight wino tendencies.
