Rules for the new sugar baby:
1. Are you worth it? Hell yes you are, ten times over
2. Hustle big, hustle hard and get out fast
3. Never, ever fall for your sugar daddy
I’ve always believed “I’m not that sort of girl,” but with my father’s debt to a bloodthirsty crime lord to pay off I have no choice but to dip into the sugar bowl.
Misha, a handsome older billionaire, is willing to pay top price for me. Something about my daddy doesn’t add up but with a debt to pay I don’t have the luxury of being picky. I’m the luxury in his life, his fantasy to fulfil, and I’m going to play my part to the fullest.
My name is Ciara, and when daddy calls, I come.
This book threw me for a loop, but in a good way. I came into it expecting a variation of your typical Sugar Daddy romance, but hot damn it was so much more than that. The action and suspense behind both Ciara and Misha’s actions kept me on edge the entire time waiting for the other shoe to drop. Brianna has this gift of taking taboo esque relationships and making them so much more than the smut people assume they will be. Her characters are multifaceted and you can’t help but fall for them, even when they have less than desirable traits.
Ciara was such a strong and determined character. It was interesting watching her try to reel in her defiant and stubborn nature so that she could be the shy timid Sugar Baby that “everyone” expected her to be. Misha was more than her Sugar Daddy from the very beginning, whether either of them wanted to admit it or not. He encouraged her to grow and blossom, not only in their relationship but in her life outside of him. She has so much ambition and strives to be so much more in her life, and she finally had someone in her corner supporting her in her drive for more. Misha started out as a Sugar Daddy, but Ciara didn’t stand a chance not falling for the man behind the money.
Misha has always had a hard time relating to people, so he has spent his life enveloped in his work and avoiding your typical relationship. He has spent years being loyal to his brother after he saved his life, but Misha has reached his breaking point with his nefarious antics. He feels guilty for the situation Ciara is in, so when his assistant concocts a plan for him to help her out on the down low Misha decides to go along. How hard can being a Sugar Daddy be? The last thing Misha ever expected was to fall in love with his Sugar Baby. Ciara may hate him when she finds out who he truly is, but he’ll do whatever is necessary to keep her safe.
The chemistry between Ciara and Misha was scorching, even during their disastrous first date. They are two kindred souls striving to do better for themselves and those around them. Their relationship by have started as a Sugar thing, but honey you can’t run from what the heart wants. I would pump my fist in the air during their smutty scenes and heartfelt scenes, then would turn around and berate them during their more heartbreaking scenes. I will proudly say I have and always be a stan of Ciara and Misha. That cliffhanger is still squeezing on my heart and my body is ready for book two. Love may not cost a thing, but Ciara and Misha’s love is worth everything.

Give me an alpha male with a woman who aces all forms of sarcasm and I'm putty in you hands -- bonus points if a Reverse Harem is involved. Supernatural esque romance and power plays tend to make my heart go pitter patter. I haven't met a book I wasn't willing to try, so if you've got recommendations email them my way. I'm a foul mouthed makeup addicted with slight wino tendencies.
