The End of an Era
They call me the walking dildo.
Something my mother would be proud of? Hell no!
Watching my best friend and my old friend-with-benefits blissfully walk down the aisle has just reiterated the fact that I’m thirty and perpetually single.
I thought I’d found the woman I wanted to spend my life with, you have to open your eyes to realize that it’s never gonna happen.
Funny how meeting the right person can finally make you see sense.
My name is Noah Taylor: kickass trauma surgeon, closet idealist, wishful thinker, and all round cocky asshole, and this is the year my life will change for the better.
*Disclaimer: This book features hot sex, filthy language, misuse of on-call rooms and the overdue redemption of the fake orgasm*
Nicknamed the Walking Dildo, Noah doesn’t disappoint and he has the goods to back it up. He’s been a player for years, in previous books dare I say he sometimes came across a little arrogant and somewhat douche-y. Now after many women and much time, he wants to have the real thing…a solid relationship. Sadly he’s been under the impression the women he’s withy will want more. The good thing is once he figures out she’s just using him, he can cut her loose and find the one. Fortunately for us, it doesn’t take long.
As a promise not to spill the beans of the identity of The One, I will say she’s loveable, spirited, and not willing to put up with the likes of Dr. Noah Taylor. From the start she rebuffs him which, of course, only makes him want her more. Although the two have instant chemistry, they both get to know each other and become friends first. How can you not love that? They both move through their emotional barriers but balance it with plenty of steamy in the bedroom.
I have been a huge fan of the Bliss series from the beginning. It’s witty, humorous, and sexy. The dialogue is pretty spot on and in many ways reminds me of conversations I have with friends over cocktails. While I’m sad this series is over, it ends with a bang. The cherry on top is the amazing epilogue to wrap up the loose ends. Now I can’t wait until the release of Crave.
