Life has a way of righting wrongs when you least expect it.
Come join this sexy crew as they show you that, even though life may take from you, it can also give back when you least anticipate it.
The Ocean Beach series continues with the brotherhood, passion, and laughter you have grown to love, and through the eyes of these survivors, you will realize love can truly heal.
The past will never be forgotten, but there is hope if you just allow yourself to have a little faith.
This is an adult contemporary romance series of five books and one novella with a difference. My style is different, and readers are picking up on it. I am not just having boy meets girl in each book and then a HEA. There is more—much more—going on.
There is a brotherhood of guys who will make you feel a whole range of emotions, and all of the characters are strongly involved in each sequel.
This novel does contain strong sexual content for the mature 18+ reader.
I have been waiting for this book to be released and it was SO worth the wait. It was so nice to be back in Ocean Beach. The same cast of characters is in this book as the last with the addition of a few new ones. We still get the great multi-point-of-view as we did in the last book and it was again well done. This book focuses more on Keanu and Hope. Keanu is the jokester of the crew. Characters that are overly humorous are usually the most emotionally damaged but in this case, it wasn’t true. While he does suffer in his own way, his joking isn’t a coping mechanism but a way to relieve tension. Its use to remind everyone in the group that whatever the issue is, they can get past it because they have all been through much worst.
We met Hope briefly in the first book when Faith was taking random photos on Ocean Beach. She lives on the streets, not by choice but by circumstance. She and Keanu meet by chance when Keanu runs into trouble while walking the streets one night. She and Ajax play his Good Samaritans. During his recovery, Keanu could not forget the beautiful girl that helped save him. It isn’t until going on a run with Faith to deliver food to some of her homeless friends do they reunite. I liked the slow and steady progression of their relationship. Because of her past, it’s understandable that Hope would be skittish when it comes to any relationship especially one that involves intimacy. Keanu handles it like a champ with patience and care. God I love this guy!
This was a great continuation of the story. Emma does a great job of exposing you to all of the blooming relationships and leaves you wanting more. I cannot wait for the next book to come out. I am hoping for a happy ending for Harley. Hint. Hint.

You can always find me with my nose in my Kindle reading a romance novel starring a tough talking, hard loving alpha male and sassy heroine. For the past six years reading has been my addiction. I am always up for a good read and am excited when I get any suggestions. My other loves are working out and spending time with my hubs, family and friends.
