On the flap: Trapped inside a luxury mall during a violent storm, small town girl, Clover Brite, is thrust into the arms of international playboy Dorian Martin. Lighting strikes inside the building as well as outside…
Clover is the site manager for the renovation of the Baltimore Rotunda and first meets the owner, Dorian, when the 'storm of the century' traps the two of them inside the luxury mall. Upscale stores surround them and all are available at the end of Dorian's keyring, and though money doesn't impress her much, they begin to fall for each other.
Too aware of the differences between them and struggling with angst from her childhood, Clover flees back to her small town world. Dorian follows in hot pursuit. But will Clover realise that what happened that stormy night could lead to a future?
I had a hard time putting this book down. It’s one of those reads that captures your curiosity and does not let it go. “Lost in You” is about two people who were forced together by Mother Nature. They were both rich but in very different ways. Clover Brite, whose point of view the story is told in, was a smart girl who had to work for everything she got. Her family was rich with love rather than money. Dorian Martin, on the other hand, had more money than he can spend in his lifetime but instead of being raised by loving parents who accepted him for who he was, they made feel like a disappointment.
While reading the book, I was waiting for two things to happen, one for Dorian and Clover to get together. It was a slow build but once they got together, the sparks flew and flew and flew. This book is jam packed with a variety of love scenes. Some sexy. Some sweet. But ALL hot! The second thing, I was waiting for Clover to get out of her own way. Her refusal to believe that she and Dorian cannot be together because of his financial status prevents them from being together. Dorian is just an open, honest, good man who was looking for someone to accept him for him. Because she is unlike anyone he knows, he believes Clover could be the one. He tries to do everything right just to make her happy. But Clover shuts him down at every turn making them both miserable. I really wanted to jump in there and shake her. Thank goodness for her family, who convinces her that her thinking is irrational and if she doesn’t wake up soon, she will miss this grand opportunity.
I enjoyed that the tables were turned in this book. The role reversal in this book was a nice refreshing change. This an enjoyable read that never lets you go. I am hoping that one day Sommer Mardsen will write this story from Dorian’s point-of-view.

You can always find me with my nose in my Kindle reading a romance novel starring a tough talking, hard loving alpha male and sassy heroine. For the past six years reading has been my addiction. I am always up for a good read and am excited when I get any suggestions. My other loves are working out and spending time with my hubs, family and friends.
