On the Flap
Book three of The Luminara Series.
This is the ultimate romantic love story. This is the most tragic love story.
Lucca’s Words. Lucca’s Heart. Lucca’s Life.
* Lucca’s Lust is a full length novel from Lucca’s point of view based on Lussuria, book one in the Luminara series. It also contains exclusive advance chapters from book four, Luminoso, in his words, and a bonus chapter: Lucca’s Interview.
Most men feel lust. Some men fall in love. A few men find their light.
I am that man.
I found it all.
I have her.
She walked into my life.
My dolcezza. My life. My girl. My brightness.
My something special and everything else in between.
Breath-stealing. Heart-touching. Soul-searching. Sexual goddess.
She is everything.
She deserves everything.
I give her me. All of me.
This is the first two books but from Lucca’s point of view. Normally I’d say you must enjoy the first two books in the series, Lussuria and L’amore, to be able to understand this one but that’s not necessarily true. Lucca’s Lust wraps up the major plot points of the other books but from the male perspective. I’d still read the other books simply because understanding Lexi is central to the series; all of her heartache and anguish she has experienced propels her actions and in turn eventually begins to influence Lucca’s too.
For the most part, Lucca’s standpoint doesn’t change my overall ideals of the series however it is intriguing to see a different side of him. He seems to be an alpha male who is always in control but through his eyes, we see he loses all that tightly held emotion very quickly. With his viewpoint we can also see how the things he did, which appeared to be one thing, actually tended to more of a lack of thought and definitely not malicious actions.
While at times the book was verbose, the single aspect I enjoy most from the author are her shortened sentences, usually with most being single words, to proliferate the intense emotions occurring during the scene. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series.
