*Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and violence. Mature readers only. Not intended for young readers.*
Author note: This book is a spin-off from RAFE (Inked Brotherhood #5) but it is one hundred percent independent and can be read without having read any of my previous books.
This is one hot sexy read! This is the first book in Jo Raven's Sex and Bullets series. It is a fast paced, suspenseful story full of twists. Wanted by the mafia Raylin has been living her life on the run fearing for her life. She flees Wisconsin and takes refuge in a vacant beach house in Florida. During a storm she attempts to save a handsome well-built man named Storm from almost being hit by a wave. Storm like the actual storm comes into her life ferocious yet calming. He is in Florida recovering from an injury he received in a car accident that he feels wasn't actually an accident. Too many failed attempts on his life has left him hiding and trusting no one, not even his best friends. For Storm and Raylin a possible one night stand, turns into two people broken and alone finding each other.
Storm and Raylin are a perfect match. The most beautiful part of this book is seeing when their walls come down and they become each others strength. When those walls come down their heat is off the charts. I liked that Raylin gave as good as she got sometimes even more. They were perfection.
Storm is a different type of hero. In his strength he also shows his vulnerability. The way he sees Raylin as a sort of talisman is swoon worthy. Even when Raylin's trust issues get in the way of them being together, his feelings never waver. When trying to convince Raylin he will help her and not leave her he says, "And I’d rather lose trying to win you, rather than let you go without a fight.” Sigh....Fall in love with Storm and their beautiful story and buy this book.

You can always find me with my nose in my Kindle reading a romance novel starring a tough talking, hard loving alpha male and sassy heroine. For the past six years reading has been my addiction. I am always up for a good read and am excited when I get any suggestions. My other loves are working out and spending time with my hubs, family and friends.
