On the Flap
Raine Kendall has everything a woman could want…almost. Sexy, tender Dom Liam O’Neill is her knight in shining armor, but Raine is constantly pinching herself. Is he too good to be true or is this growing connection one that could last a lifetime? She’s constantly torn by her abiding feelings for her commanding boss, Macen “Hammer” Hammerman, especially in the wake the mind-blowing night he cast aside the barriers between them and ravaged every inch of her body.
Hammer, Liam’s former best friend, can’t stop coveting Raine. But Liam is determined to hold and guide the woman he loves and see if she can be the submissive of his dreams. However, he’s finding that her trust is hard won and he needs a bloody crowbar to pry open her scarred soul. So he risks everything to win her once and for all. But once he’s put his daring plan in motion, will it cost Liam his heart if he loses Raine to Hammer for good?
This is definitely a hot read between Liam and his Irish lilt and all the hot sex going on, yeah, you're going to want to keep a fan close by for this one. To get the full impact of the story, you will want to read “One Dom to Love” the first book in the Doms of Her Life series.
Usually when I read, I look for a character I can route for, but with this one, I had such a hard time. I loved Raine and then she would do something to make me mad and I would put her aside. Then I felt sorry for Mecan/Hammer and his inability to share his feelings then he would do something to make me throw up my hands in exasperation and I just wanted to slam him to the ground. Thennnn I felt for Liam and his insecurities and his inability to see how others felt for him but grew tired of them and wanted to slap him and yell "Snap out of it!" ala Cher in "Moonstruck".
In the end I just wanted all of them to let down their guards and expose their insecurities to each other. You could see the potential in their relationship but that they seem to get in their own way. In this book, you can see them figuring things out. This book does have its HEA. Makes me look forward to the third installment.

You can always find me with my nose in my Kindle reading a romance novel starring a tough talking, hard loving alpha male and sassy heroine. For the past six years reading has been my addiction. I am always up for a good read and am excited when I get any suggestions. My other loves are working out and spending time with my hubs, family and friends.
