The New York Times bestselling author of the Connections novels turns up the heat in a sexy new romance about money, power, danger, and passion…
Sometimes you have to wonder if your life is just too good to be true.
Is it real or just an illusion?
Does the man lying beside you really love you like he says he does?
If the answer is yes, you’re meant to live happily ever after.
If the answer is no, you’re living my life…
and nothing will ever be the same.
I know I should walk away, but I can't.
I’ll take whatever I can get for as long as it lasts.
I know when it’s over…
I’ll never find another man like him.
Friend or Foe...He Loves Me/He Loves Me Not...She Believes in Me/She Believes me Not
That is what this book was about. This is one heck of a second chance romance story. It was an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. From the beginning Jeremy and Phoebe have been together under false pretenses. In the beginning it was her true identity and fast forward to the present, it was who is Jeremy really was and what are his true intentions. Whether the present or the past, the one thing that was very clear was their chemistry. When they came together, they were off-the-charts HOT! But it isn’t until they found love did they have to figure out if it was toxic or not.
At times this book became frustrating but in the end it was worth it all. There were no loose ends left untied. I was so glad to see them reach their happily ever after.

You can always find me with my nose in my Kindle reading a romance novel starring a tough talking, hard loving alpha male and sassy heroine. For the past six years reading has been my addiction. I am always up for a good read and am excited when I get any suggestions. My other loves are working out and spending time with my hubs, family and friends.
